Jimmi' Jammer for
Ford F-150 trucks 2004 - 2014 is discontinued.

The photo to the right shows one popular method of breaking into your 2004-14 F150 (all trim packages and models including Raptor) or Lincoln Mark LT.

The thief pry's into the door under the handle to get at the lock rods inside the door. Then, they force the rod to move and unlock the door!

It's fast, easy and quiet, making this a favorite among thieves. >

Another popular method is to "Punch" the lock straight into the door cavity. This is also very easy to do since the handle and lock holder are all made of plastic!

What's the solution?

Read on...

< The photo to the left shows a Jimmi' Jammer® plate mounted to the back side of the drivers door handle.

The plate covers the back of the lock cylinder, (toward the left of the photo,) reinforcing the plastic holding the lock in place and blocking access to the lock rods inside the door. (Lock rods are not shown here for clarity.)

The left end of the plate uses a set screw to anchor the left end to the door jamb, increasing the strength of the assembly.

The lower left part of the plate is relieved on this model to allow for the mounting of the keyless lock pad cable channel to the door. (not shown.)

Mounting the plate inside the door also helps prevent the thief from pulling the entire handle away from the body far enough to stick a tool into the door cavity and get at the lock rods, another favorite way to break in to your truck.

What about rear doors and doors that don't have a lock cylinder on them?

On rear doors of a four door truck, the plates are still necessary. The lock rods inside the doors still are accessible by a thief who knows how to get at them. Also, the door latch assembly is just below the handle on these doors and can be easily reached with a screwdriver and/or short piece of wire. Installing the rear plates will help prevent access to the latch and rods inside the door.

If your front passenger side door doesn't have a lock either, you still need a plate on that door too! By pulling the handle away from the door slightly, the thief can get at the rod running across the door cavity, even though there is no lock cylinder.

Has your lock been "punched" or "jimmied" more than once?

Attention 2004 - 14 F-150 and Mark LT owners!

Thieves are now breaking into the bed of your truck if you have a shell or tonneau cover, and sometimes are breaking your tailgate handle lock out just to steal your tailgate.

This tailgate theft deterrent bolts inside your tailgate to the back of the tailgate handle. The plate surrounds the plastic lock holder and a provided circular clamp helps reinforce the assembly to prevent the lock from being punched into the gate or spun around in the holder.

We also recommend using our other tailgate theft deterrent, the Gate Keeper® on your tailgate. This additional layer of protection is inexpensive, easy to install and could save you big bucks and headaches! More Gate Keeper® information.

The photo above shows the new Jimmi' Jammer® plate for the 2004 - 14 Ford F-150 (all packages) and Lincoln Mark LT tailgate handle. (Removed from tailgate for clarity.)

The plate wraps around the lock cylinder holder, then the circular clamp helps reinforce the plastic lock holder and provide additional support behind the plate. You can see here that the plate uses the factory handle mounting stud and nut, so no cutting or drilling is required. The Jimmi' Jammer® for your tailgate handle will not interfere with backup cameras mounted on the handle.
